The 2024–2026 Tacoma has separate lift-kit paths for standard and TRD Off-Road suspension, with rear spring type and factory packages changing which current system fits.
The 2024 redesign creates a different lift-kit decision
The 2024–2026 Tacoma should not be treated as a continuation of 2016–2023 lift fitment. Current manufacturer applications distinguish rear suspension type and specific factory shock packages. The current 2024–2026 options covered here are Rough Country products at 3.5 and 6 inches, with the 3.5-inch path split between standard suspension and TRD Off-Road suspension.
That split is important because the standard 3.5-inch system excludes TRD models with the specified TRD Off-Road suspension, while the separate TRD Off-Road system requires that factory Bilstein reservoir setup. Both also exclude rear leaf-spring configurations.

Rear suspension type is a first-step fit check
The current 3.5-inch product pages list coil-spring-only applications. If the truck uses the rear leaf-spring configuration, those products are excluded. This is a good example of why year, model and 4WD alone are not enough for the newer Tacoma.

TRD Off-Road gets a separate 3.5-inch path
Rough Country’s 75500A application is specifically for TRD models with the named TRD Off-Road Bilstein reservoir struts. The manufacturer notes also exclude AVS, Trailhunter and rear leaf-spring models, and state that the factory skid plate must be removed on equipped trucks.
The standard 75630 system takes the opposite path: it excludes TRD models with that TRD Off-Road suspension, along with TRD Pro and Trailhunter. Choosing between these two systems therefore depends on the factory suspension package, not on the shared 3.5-inch advertised height.
Tire guidance belongs to the exact suspension package
The TRD Off-Road-specific 75500A product page publishes a 35×12.50R17 example on a 17×9 wheel. That is useful evidence for that exact application, but it does not prove the same combination fits the standard 75630 system or the 6-inch 77230 configuration.

Third-generation Tacoma products commonly focus on 5-lug/6-lug fit, TRD Pro/TX Baja exclusions and aftermarket-wheel requirements.
